SAKURA PROJECT is a Civil Volunteer Organisation (NGO) supporting education and cultures of hilltribes of Northern Thailand. We operates the hostel "Sakura-Ryo"in Nam Lat, Chiang Rai in Thailand for hilltribes who have no educational facilities within the accessible distance, and for those who cannot continue their schooling due to the environment their family is placed. There are approximately 147 students boarding in the hostel, and attending primary, junior, and high shcool as well as the technical college nearby. Also, our programme include preservation of traditional cultures of hilltribes, supporting schools in mountains, and preventing girls from invloving in the prostitution.
