Zoë's Presents Solution

 

Remember that the three women aren’t Zoë’s dad or uncle (and the men aren’t her mum, auntie or grandma).

 

Ellen who gave Zoë the playhouse isn’t her mum (clue 6) or her grandma (clue 3), so her auntie. Anna isn’t Zoë’s grandma (3), so mum, leaving Brenda as grandma. Grandma gave Zoë the doll (3), and Auntie Ellen gave the playhouse (6). Zoë’s uncle didn’t give her the teddy or the trike (7), so the dressing-up box. Thus uncle is not David (4), but Charles, and David is Zoë’s dad. David didn’t give Zoë the trike (1&2), so the teddy. Anna gave Zoë the trike. The last present opened by Zoë wasn’t from Anna (trike, 1), Charles (uncle, 2), David (teddy, 7) or Ellen (auntie, 2) so Brenda. The first present opened was from Anna (1), so auntie’s wasn’t opened 2nd and dad’s was neither opened 2nd nor 3rd (2). Thus Uncle Charles’ present was opened 2nd, Auntie Ellen’s 3rd and dad’s 4th. Mum wrapped her present in green paper (6), and auntie wrapped her present in red paper (5). Uncle Charles didn’t wrap his present in yellow paper (4), green paper (6) or pink paper (7), so silver paper. Dad didn’t give the teddy wrapped in pink paper (7), so yellow paper. Grandma’s present was wrapped in pink paper.
