Zoë’s Birthday Presents

It was Zoë’s fifth birthday, and her mum, dad, auntie, uncle and grandma all came to her birthday party and gave her presents to her great delight. From the clues below can you work out who is who, what present they each gave her, what colour paper each present was wrapped in, and the order in which Zoë opened her presents?

1.    Zoë could see the shape of the trike outlined in the wrapping paper and couldn’t resist tearing open that present first.

2.    Zoë opened the present from her auntie after the present from her uncle, but before the present from her dad.

3.    Zoë’s grandma (not Anna) gave her a beautiful little doll. Brenda may or may not have wrapped her present in silver paper.

4.    Charles didn’t wrap his present in yellow paper, and David didn’t give Zoë the dressing-up box.

5.    The third present that Zoë opened was wrapped in red paper.

6.    Anna wrapped her present in green paper and Ellen (not Zoë’s mum) gave her the playhouse.
